About

About my Troop

Scouts also learn through outdoor activities, which can help them develop life skills, social connections, and wilderness survival skills like first aid, navigation, and knot-tying. Scouts also focus on personal responsibility, citizenship, and teamwork. As they advance through the ranks based on their age, achievement, and experience, Scouts can learn Scoutcraft skills, become more self-reliant, develop leadership skills, and earn merit badges.

Our Mission

The Boy Scouts of America’s mission is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives by teaching them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The Scout Oath states, “On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight”.
